You know the old song..."the church is not a building, the church is not a steeple, the church is not a resting place, the church is the people." It sounds kind of corny, but it's true. The church is the people. And at Bethel, we know how important it is to take care of our people. That's why we have numerous caring ministries to provide support, hospitality and guidance. If you are in need of assistance from one of these ministries, don't hesitate to contact the church office or Pastor Fred. That's what we're here for.

GRIEFSHARE: GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. Please feel free to call Bethel at 645-9425 if you have any questions or would like more information about the GriefShare seminar. A new group will be starting this fall.
STEPHEN MINISTRY: Stephen Ministers are trained to be confidential listeners who support and comfort people in times of need. These needs may include divorce, loss of a loved one, hospitalization, terminal illness, lonliness, relocation, unemployment, retirement, empty nest, and other life transitions. If you would like to be assigned a care giving Stephen Minister, please contact the Church office at 645-9426. TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY: This ministry provides transportation for our home-bound members who need help getting to and from doctor's appointments, the pharmacy, etc. When someone is in need of transportation, they must simply call the church office. The ministry's coordinator then contacts her volunteer drivers to see who is available to assist. If you are in need of transportation, or if you would like to volunteer as a driver, please call the church office at 645-9426.
HEALTH MINISTRY: We know that Church is a place where we can minister to the spiritual needs of our congregation, but what about their physical needs? That's where the Health Ministry comes in. From flu shots to TAD screenings, this ministry exists to help our congregation stay healthy in body as well as in spirit.
PRAYER CHAIN: The prayer chain is available to all members and friends of Bethel. If you know of someone who is in need of prayer or if you would like to serve as a prayer chain link, please contact the church office at 645-9426 or

SANDY KECK PRAYER GROUP: Dedicated in memory of one of Bethel's strongest prayer warriors, the Sandy Keck Prayer Group meets each Monday afternoon at 12:00 in the Lounge to pray over the concerns of the church, our community, and the world.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY: This group of dedicated crafters meets each week to knit and crochet prayer shawls to give to the sick, bereaved, broken, and lonely. As they knit, the group members pray for whomever it is that might be receiving the shawls. Once completed, the shawls are consecrated. If you know of someone who would benefit from the comfort and love demonstrated by the gift of a prayer shawl, please contact the church office at 645-9426 or click here to email us.
GREETING CARD MINISTRY: Doesn't it feel nice to get a birthday card? To know someone is thinking of you? How good would you feel if you received a greeting card from the church you had just visited, welcoming you to return next Sunday? These are just the kinds of things Bethel's Greeting Card Ministry does. A simple card...just one way to share the grace and love of Jesus Christ with others.
CAMPUS MINISTRY: We want our college students to know that they are loved and prayed for even after they leave us to go to college. That's why we have a campus ministry that sends cards and care packages to each college student on holidays, birthdays, or whenever we feel they might need a boost. If you know of someone who should be added to our list of students or if you'd like to help with this ministry, please contact the church office at 645-9426 or click here to email us.
